Job Description

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Texas Special Education Certification for grades K-12
  • Proven experience serving as an ARD Facilitator
  • Deep understanding of ARD meetings, compliance, and supporting the IEP process
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate between staff, students, and families
  • Ability to work onsite and foster productive relationships within the educational community
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and promoting inclusion for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate ARD/IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all meetings and follow-up items
  • Serve as a trusted resource for staff and families, helping clarify processes and support student success
  • Stay current on policy updates and best practices in special education
