A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support a developmental preschool program in Seattle, WA. This full-time, in-person contract position requires a dedicated educator with early childhood certification to provide tailored instruction and support to young learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with each students IEP
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports developmental growth
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to promote student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Special Education (SPED) license and certification
- Early Childhood Special Education certification is mandatory
- Experience working in developmental preschool settings preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood educational strategies and developmental milestones
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Location: Seattle, WA (in-person role only)
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026
