Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a developmental preschool setting near Seattle, WA. This full-time, in-person contract position is essential for providing high-quality, individualized education to preschool-aged children and runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026. Youll play a key part in helping each child reach their milestones and thrive in an inclusive, supportive environment.

What youll need to bring:

• Active Washington State Special Education Teaching License and Early Childhood Certification
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with preschool or early childhood populations
• Strong understanding of early intervention techniques and differentiated instruction
• Dedication to fostering a welcoming, engaging classroom for students of all abilities
• Comfort with an in-person, onsite schedule
• Ability to collaborate with other education professionals, support staff, and families

What youll be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality instruction and support to students in a developmental preschool program
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool learners
• Creating lesson plans tailored to young childrens developmental needs
• Working closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive student support
• Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing updates to all stakeholders
• Promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth
