Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Arizona special education teaching license required
• Background working in K-12 schools, with experience at the elementary, middle, or high school levels
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students IEPs
• Develop lesson plans that meet educational standards and are appropriate for students abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to support inclusion
• Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and program goals
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom climate
