We are seeking skilled and passionate Special Education Teachers for various openings in Phoenix and Glendale, AZ. This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027 (subject to change), offering a chance to advance your career while making a meaningful difference.
Youll work full time in self-contained and resource classrooms, creating positive academic and behavioral outcomes across a range of specialized settings. Open roles include:
- Self-Contained Cross Category Academic Program for 8th Grade Science
- Self-Contained Behavior Teacher
- Self-Contained Academic Teacher (Generally MID students)
- Preschool Teacher for Autism Preschool
- .5 Resource serving 3rd and 4th graders, Monday through Friday, 8 AM12 PM
- .5 Resource for 7th and 8th graders
Successful candidates will have:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification, meeting Arizona SPED Educator Cert requirements
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to engage with staff, students, and families
- Previous experience in special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
