Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in the Phoenix and Glendale areas. Multiple positions are available to meet a variety of student needs, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027 (dates subject to change). Schedules are flexible, with both full-time and part-time roles open, and part-time placements may be combined for full-time coverage.
Your expertise is needed across several school sites and positions:
- Self-Contained Behavior Teacher
- Preschool Special Education Teacher
- K-3 Resource Teacher
- Multiple Resource Teacher positions (some full-time, some part-time)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting instruction to individual learning plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues and families
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
What Youll Do:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction in alignment with IEPs and district standards
- Design and modify lesson materials to accommodate various student needs
- Foster social, emotional, and behavioral development through targeted interventions and positive supports
- Collaborate with support staff, administrators, and families to track progress and address student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication related to student growth and performance
