What We're Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (Arizona or eligible for reciprocity)
• Previous experience in special education settings, especially with resource and self-contained classrooms

• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to a variety of student learning styles
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Provide direct instruction to students in resource and self-contained classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Encourage student independence, self-advocacy, and academic achievement
