This full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school serving high school students in Scottsdale, AZ. The role focuses on supporting students with autism in a self-contained classroom setting, providing individualized instruction and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with autism.
• Deliver specialized instruction within a self-contained classroom, adapting teaching strategies to promote academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and related service providers to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary to achieve educational goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school students, specifically those with autism, in self-contained classroom settings.
