This Special Education teaching opportunity is based in Scottsdale, AZ, and is available as a contract position for the current school year (CSY). It is designed for educators with experience and passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs in a structured classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning requirements
• Deliver specialized instruction to students with various disabilities, adapting teaching methods and materials accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and report on educational outcomes
• Manage classroom behavior using positive and effective strategies
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities related to special education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
