Full-Time Itinerant Special Education Teacher
Location: Schnecksville, Pennsylvania area (In-Person)
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a flexible, student-centered Itinerant Special Education Teacher to provide coverage across schools in the Schnecksville area. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident supporting diverse learners across multiple age groups and disability classifications.

Position Overview

This position will support schools by covering daily absences, maternity leaves, and long-term vacancies. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable stepping into different classroom structuresincluding resource, inclusion, and self-contained settingswhile maintaining continuity of instruction and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality special education instruction across K12 settings
Provide seamless coverage for short-term and long-term assignments
Implement and adapt lesson plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
Actively participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress monitoring
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
Build positive relationships with students, families, and school teams

Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Teaching License required
Active PA PDE Certification in Special Education required
Demonstrated experience working in special education settings
Experience with IEP development and implementation
Ability to work with all age groups, disability levels, and classroom types
Strong classroom management and adaptability skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
