Qualifications:

• Valid New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience in assessment, evaluations, direct therapy, and participation in IEP meetings
• Fingerprinting and background clearance as per state and school requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education services for assigned students
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans
• Oversee data collection, progress monitoring, and IEP documentation
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team activities
• Deliver high-quality instruction and support with adaptability for diverse student needs
