This special education teaching opportunity is designed for professionals certified in New York State as Special Education Teachers or certified in Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2. Candidates actively pursuing certification for special education Birth to Grade 2 may also be considered for substitute teaching roles. The position involves working with integrated and self-contained preschool classrooms, supporting children aged 3 to 5 years old.
Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing consistent weekdays with weekends off. The role takes place in a school setting located in Schenectady, NY, offering a contract position ideally suited for educators committed to fostering early childhood special education.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- NYS Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2 (Required)
