What you'll bring:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with K-12, early childhood, or adult transition populations welcomed
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility and creativity to adapt lessons for a variety of learning styles and needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and facilitating engaging, individualized instruction for students in summer school programs
- Implementing and monitoring progress on IEP goals with fidelity
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure students educational, social, and emotional needs are met
- Creating a supportive, positive classroom environment
- Engaging in regular communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates and celebrating student progress
