Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Located near Saratoga Springs, NY, this role offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with a caseload of 20 students at a single site, ensuring consistency and relationship-building with those you support. Youll play a critical role in shaping educational experiences and outcomes, all while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule of 10 hours per week.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification issued by NY State
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to conduct student assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy
• Satisfactory fingerprinting and background clearance prior to start date

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and conduct student assessments and evaluations
• Provide direct instructional support to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all assigned students
• Engage in any required administrative time and team meetings, compensated within your contracted hours
• Travel between sites if required, with paid travel time (please inquire about mileage reimbursement details)
