Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience working with students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and effective teaching strategies
• Comfortable adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs, particularly in Math
• Collaborative approach to working with general education teachers, aides, and staff
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and challenges
• Deliver engaging instruction to students across a range of grade levels and abilities, with a focus on Math when needed
• Assess student progress and modify teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
• Participate in school meetings, IEP conferences, and collaborate with other educators to support student success
• Create a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment
