This contract position offers you the chance to work with a diverse group of students, ranging from Pre-K and Early Childhood to High School (grades K12). Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid teaching credential with special education authorization for the state of California
• Experience or strong interest in working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Understanding of IEP processes and implementation
• Ability to modify curriculum and lessons to individual student needs
• Confidence supporting students in multiple subjects, especially Math
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to address a variety of learning styles

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with special needs in accordance with IEP goals
• Design and implement individualized lesson plans focusing on grade-level content and life skills
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Monitor student progress and document achievements on a regular basis
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for a wide range of learners
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development through evidence-based strategies
