Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students in one or more of the following: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, or High School
• Proficiency teaching across multiple grade levels, with a focus on differentiated instruction
• Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and related service providers
• Comfort adapting math curriculum for diverse learning styles and abilities
• Ability to cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging instruction for students with unique learning needs
• Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraeducators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student success and challenges
• Use evidence-based interventions and creative approaches for classroom management
• Foster a culture of respect, growth, and encouragement
