Your expertise in Special Education, and ability to deliver engaging Math instruction, will foster growth and achievement in diverse learners.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience teaching across multiple grade levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and/or High School)
- Strong foundation in Math instruction and individualized learning plans
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a variety of student needs
- Commitment to inclusive and supportive educational practices
Role Highlights:
- Design and implement differentiated instruction in accordance with students IEPs
- Provide Math lessons as well as general academic support for assigned grades
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
- Monitor and report on students progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
- Participate in parent meetings, staff development sessions, and school events as appropriate
