Make an immediate impact on student learning as a Special Education Teacher supporting a wide spectrum of ages and grade levels. In this contract opportunity, youll collaborate closely with dedicated teams to develop individualized education plans and provide specialized instruction from early childhood through high schoolincluding K-5, middle, and secondary grades. Youll also have the chance to bring your passion for teaching math to students in grades 1-12.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students in one or more of the following: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), or High School (9-12)
• Solid understanding of individualized instruction and IEP implementation
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction for diverse learners
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, students, and families
• Preferred: Experience teaching mathematics across multiple grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs in special education and math
• Design and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Work with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and assessments
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate student progress to families and participate in IEP meetings
• Monitor behavioral and academic growth, adjusting strategies as needed
• Use data-driven approaches to guide instruction and interventions
