Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience supporting diverse learners across grade levels, from Early Childhood through High School
• Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for a range of ages and skillsets, including Math instruction
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons for students with varying needs from Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grades 1-12
• Create a supportive and accessible classroom atmosphere tailored to the developmental level of each group
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust learning plans as needed
• Develop and manage IEPs, ensuring goals are individualized and regularly monitored
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
• Attend team meetings, professional development sessions, and relevant school functions
