A leading school district in South San Francisco, CA, is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to support students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students with mild/moderate and extensive support needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned caseloads.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Credential with related Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) authorization is required; candidates without this credential will not be considered.
- Experience working with students in special education settings, especially in mild/moderate and extensive support needs categories.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to work across grade spans including early childhood (1 ECSE opening), elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Ability and willingness to participate in onsite or virtual interview formats and onboarding processes as required.
