Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience teaching or supporting students in grades K12 and early childhood programs
- Strong foundation in modifying curriculum for individual education needs
- Proficiency in implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, caregivers, and staff
- Background in math instruction is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans for students with various exceptionalities
- Support learning for students in grades Pre-K through 12th, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
