Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with students in a resource or inclusive classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction in core subjects, particularly Mathematics
• Effective communicator with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability in supporting a wide range of grades and learning styles
• Collaborative spirit and positive attitude towards problem-solving

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction grouped by grades (Pre-K, K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in partnership with stakeholders
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each student
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate actively with general educators and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
• Engage families in the educational process
