Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Kingston, NH, within a school setting. This role focuses on providing dedicated support to students in grades K-9, working with a caseload of approximately 12-14 students. The position requires onsite work, emphasizing small group instruction in reading, writing, and math.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Manage a caseload of special education students from K-9th grade.
- Provide small group instruction in reading, writing, and math to support academic growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students in grades K-9.
- Strong skills in case management and individualized instruction.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative educational environment.
- Commitment to onsite work hours, 35 hours per week.
Location: Kingston, NH work onsite at Seacoast Charter Academy, part of the local regional school district.
