Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and legal requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and needs
• Assess students academic and behavioral progress, documenting growth and areas for further support
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies based on student learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for each child
• Maintain organized records and comply with all state and federal special education guidelines
• Foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence
