Qualifications and Experience:
- Current teaching certification in Special Education
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for diverse learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with laws and regulations regarding student disabilities
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students unique abilities
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and set goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Communicate regularly with families about student growth and strategies for success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $39.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
