Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Valid IL SPED License required
- Experience working in self-contained classroom environments preferred
- Additional state or district certifications as needed (PEL, Para Cert, or other as requested)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide direct instruction and specialized support in self-contained classrooms
- Dedicate Mondays to paperwork, meetings, and planning
- Serve as a float substitute within the ECSE program as needed
- Uphold best practices in special education and individualized learning
