Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Completion of a state-approved special education teacher preparation program
  • Minnesota teaching license (Professional Educator Licensing & Standards Board)
  • Proficiency in Special Education core competencies (e.g., Learning Disabilities, ABS, EBD)
  • Successful student teaching/practicum experience
  • Preferred: experience with high school students, background in reading intervention/executive functioning, strong IEP development skills, collaborative team mindset

  • Deliver instruction in reading intervention and executive functioning
  • Guide academic organization, planning, and study skills
