Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and resilient Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This role focuses on supporting students within a Setting III CREED classroom, designed for students who require intensive social, emotional, and behavioral support in a specialized environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead instruction within a Setting III CREED (Cultivating Resiliency, Empowerment, and Educational Development) classroom.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to high school students with significant behavioral or emotional needs.
Utilize trauma-informed practices and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, productive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with school psychologists, social workers, and families to track progress and adjust interventions.
Qualifications
Active Minnesota (MN) Special Education License (Academic Behavioral Strategist or EBD certification preferred).
Prior experience in a Setting III or high school behavioral program is highly valued.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with at-risk youth.
