Job Description

Description A dedicated school community is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for the 20262027 school year running ASAP through June 4, 2027. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored instruction and support to meet the unique learning needs of assigned special education caseload.

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), tracking student developmental progress and managing compliance.

  • Facilitate daily classroom routines, foster an inclusive environment, and manage behavioral support needs.

  • Collaborate effectively with school administrators, multidisciplinary team members, and families to maximize student outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (MN SPED).

  • Strong understanding of special education compliance, IEP management, and instruction tailored to diverse learning profiles.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
