Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching license
• Emotional Impairment (EI) endorsement is a strong asset
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

In this role, you'll:

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction tailored to each students unique learning needs and abilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure a comprehensive support system for each learner
• Create and maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Utilize effective strategies to manage classroom behaviors and provide social-emotional support
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
