We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to lead self-contained ESE classrooms, primarily at the elementary level, in the North West region of Jacksonville, FL. This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of students with exceptionalities.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida ESE (Exceptional Student Education) certification
• Current K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification in Florida
• Proven experience managing self-contained classrooms
• Familiarity with various learning needs and exceptionalities
• Ability to complete and pass fingerprint clearance requirements for school districts in Florida (prior prints may be transferable)
• Willingness to undergo a virtual prescreen interview as part of the hiring process

Role Highlights:

• Guide and inspire your own self-contained ESE classroom at a single school location (final site to be determined)
• Serve a diverse student population with a range of abilities, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with school administrators, fellow educators, and support staff to tailor learning strategies and maximize student potential
• Maintain detailed records and implement IEPs in accordance with district standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
• Work onsite, exclusively in person, with a commitment of 35 hours per week from now through the school year ending May 2027
