Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school-based team in St. Francis, Minnesota. This is a great opportunity for an educator who is passionate about individualized instruction and helping students with disabilities reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.

Position Highlights

  • Provide individualized and specially designed instruction based on student needs

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams

  • Adapt curriculum, lessons, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families

  • Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license appropriate for the assignment

  • Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

  • Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring

  • Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
