Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or Tier 2 accepted; preference given to Tier 3 or Tier 4)
- Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD)
- Recent classroom experience in special education, preferably within an elementary school setting
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and individualized interventions to students with a variety of emotional or behavioral needs
- Manage a caseload of approximately 11 elementary students (subject to slight change)
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, reporting, and licensure requirements
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment tailored to student needs
