Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid, active Minnesota special education teaching license required
• Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective classroom management and adaptive instructional strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, faculty, and support staff
• Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to students with various learning needs
• Develop, update, and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed
• Foster an encouraging, respectful, and productive classroom climate
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, families, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate student records and participate in required meetings
