With two positions available for the 2025-2026 school yearserving middle school caseloadsyou will help shape students academic paths while expanding your own knowledge and professional network.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering targeted instruction to middle school students with diverse learning needs and behavioral profiles.
- Collaborating with fellow educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters growth, confidence, and independence.
- Adapting instructional materials and methods to different learning abilities.
- Managing student behaviors and promoting positive interventions as needed.
- Maintaining communication with parents and participating in team meetings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with Mathematics (EX) endorsement.
- At least one of the following special education endorsements: Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Emotional Impairment (SE), or Learning Disabilities (SM).
- Experience working with middle school-aged students.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
