Make a meaningful impact as a contract Special Education Teacher, working with students across a wide range of grade levels, from Early Childhood through High School. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential required
- Experience working with students in diverse grade levels, such as Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, or High School
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Background in teaching Math is a plus
- Dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt general education lessons and modify instructional materials for diverse learners
- Provide direct instructional support to students individually or in small groups
- Monitor student progress, document growth, and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel to ensure student success across settings
