In this bilingual position (Spanish required), your commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure that administrators, staff, students, and families receive attentive assistance and seamless support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome families, students, and visitors with professionalism and warmth, representing the schools values.
- Manage front desk operations: answer phones, relay messages, and monitor the main inbox.
- Provide calendar management and administrative assistance to school leaders.
- Assist with mailings, documentation, and the organization of student records.
- Cover for the Office Coordinator during scheduled breaks as needed.
- Administer minor first aid and coordinate family communication in student health situations.
- Respond to inquiries from current and prospective families, communicating information clearly and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date enrollment records, process student applications, and support the enrollment lottery process.
- Ensure compliance with student immunization and transfer records; handle requests for academic documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate family access to school communication platforms.
- Monitor procurement processes, track materials requests, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Support HR and fiscal tasks, including updating employee files.
Desired Qualifications:
- Two or more years experience in administrative roles, ideally within an educational or urban setting.
- Spanish language fluency (written and spoken) is essential.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
