This position is for a Bilingual (Spanish) Dyslexia Interventionist serving elementary and middle school students in Manor, Texas. The role focuses on delivering specialized reading instruction and intervention to support students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted dyslexia intervention using evidence-based methods.
- Support bilingual students and general student populations in reading development.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement individualized reading plans.
- Utilize training in Reading by Design and Esperanza techniques.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Reading by Design required.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
- Esperanza Training is highly valued.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students.
- Strong understanding of dyslexia and related interventions.
Work Details:
- Full-time contract position.
- 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.
- Caseload primarily includes elementary and middle school students.
- Flexibility to work in a collaborative educational environment.
