Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Proven experience working with junior high or middle school students

  • Commitment to individualized instruction and accessibility in learning

What Youll Do:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students goals and abilities
  • Teach academic content, daily living skills, and social-emotional strategies in both individual and small-group settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide consistent support and encouragement
  • Maintain accurate student records, track progress, and prepare reports for parent meetings and team conferences
  • Create an engaging, positive, and structured classroom environment where students feel safe to explore and learn
