Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (required)
• Experience teaching Math and supporting students in Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Knowledgeable in individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and administrators
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Experience with early childhood and/or multiple grade levels is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver specialized instruction for students in Math and other subject areas as appropriate
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals for assigned caseload
• Adapt lessons to accommodate a wide range of learning styles and abilities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and ongoing staff development
• Partner with families and support staff to promote student success inside and outside the classroom
