Job Description
A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate start and contract through May 2026. Serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, this role supports diverse K-12 learners in a self-contained classroom setting. Candidates with an Emotional Impairments certification or Autism endorsement are encouraged to apply to meet the needs of students whose behaviors may vary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet educational and behavioral goals.
- Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to support students' academic and social growth.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Emotional Impairments certification or Autism endorsement.
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Ability to manage varied behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
