Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education, with an Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement
• Experience working with young children, preferably at the elementary level
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional techniques for students with autism
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Must be available to work onsite, full time

Primary Duties:

• Provide differentiated instruction tailored to individual student strengths and needs
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals to ensure effective classroom support
• Develop and update IEPs, documenting student growth and progress
• Engage proactively with parents and guardians regarding educational plans and progress
• Work cohesively with special education and building teams to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
• Foster a positive, structured, and responsive classroom environment
