Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligible for credential)
• Experience teaching across multiple grade levels (Pre-K through Grade 12) is highly valued
• Proficiency in designing and adapting math curriculum for diverse learners
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and individualized accommodations
• Ability to create supportive, structured classroom environments for exceptional learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with each students IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers for an inclusive approach
• Modify math and core subject lessons for students at varying developmental stages, from Pre-K to High School
• Track progress of students and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Engage in regular IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and advocating for students
• Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages social-emotional growth alongside academic achievement
