Job Description

Make a difference in elementary education as a Special Education Teacher serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade. This onsite, contract opportunity takes place in a supportive and collaborative school environment, where youll play a vital role in fostering academic and social growth for young learners.

Your days will be structured into 7-hour shifts, including a half-hour unpaid lunch, allowing for consistency and a balanced workday. Youll manage a caseload of elementary-aged students, focusing on helping each child achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education (SPED) teaching license for Wisconsin
  • Previous experience working in a professional school setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to individualized education plans and inclusive practices
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive educational experiences
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
