Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid state-issued Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility to obtain
• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs for students with disabilities
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and support personnel
• Ability to foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment
• Adaptability, patience, and a commitment to empowering diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to each students unique learning needs
• Assess student progress; collect data and modify interventions as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and parents to ensure effective support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences
• Advocate for students and contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect
