Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education
• Experience teaching in K12 settings (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School)
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to instruct Math at various student levels
• Compassionate communication and solid classroom management skills
• Experience supporting students with a broad spectrum of abilities and needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to each grade, adapting strategies to fit unique learning styles
• Assess student progress, documenting growth and maintaining compliance with educational standards
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
