Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students from Pre-K to Grade 12
• Strong background in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Solid understanding of differentiated instruction and classroom behavior management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Experience teaching math and adapting curriculum to meet a variety of learning needs
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative mindset

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans for students across multiple grade levels
• Conduct assessments to determine students strengths, needs, and progress
• Modify curriculum materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with educators and families to ensure consistent, supportive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation for IEPs and student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Provide direct instruction in mathematics and other core subjects as needed
