Job Description

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Certified Elementary Cognitively Impaired (CI) education, focusing on serving students in grades K2. This full-time, onsite role is located in Redford, MI, and involves travel assignments within the school setting. The assignment dates for the 2026/2027 school year are to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with cognitive impairments or autism spectrum disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) aligned with each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education License with a CI or ASD endorsement.
