This full-time, onsite opportunity involves providing specialized instruction and support to elementary and middle school students with significant cognitive, developmental, and behavioral disabilities. The position is based in Redford, MI, and is offered as a W-2 contract for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored educational programs and support services for students with diverse special education needs
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams to promote student growth and inclusion
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize learning outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
