Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential or certification in Special Education
• Experience working with various grade levels, from Pre-K to 12th grade
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Ability to support students in core subjects, particularly Math
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and educational teams
• Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lessons that accommodate individual educational plans
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
• Manage progress monitoring, data collection, and regular reporting
• Work alongside general education teachers and specialists to ensure cohesive support
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
• Guide students in both academic and social skill development
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
