A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for a K-12 public school setting in Reading, PA, with a contract through the current school year. This role requires a dedicated educator to support students with diverse learning needs by delivering individualized instruction and ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania special education standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams, families, and support staff
• Provide consistent, effective classroom management and oversight
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with state regulations
• Utilize instructional technology and Microsoft Office to enhance learning experiences

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania PDE Special Education Certification (required)
• Demonstrated experience creating and implementing IEPs
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and educational technology tools

Assignment Details:

• Locations vary within Lehigh and Carbon Counties, including Lehighton, Lansford, Center Valley, Allentown, and Orefield, PA
• 35 hours per week following the school calendar, with assignments through approximately June 2026 (tentative)
• In-person interview process
• Candidates must provide proof of active PA licensure upon application
