Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Special Education teaching credential, meeting all state requirements

  • Skilled in developing and implementing differentiated instructional strategies
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom culture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualized instruction to students with varying disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support services
  • Assess and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • Create a positive classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
