Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience working with students from Pre-K through 12th Grade
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for individual student needs
• Proficiency in delivering Math instruction across multiple grades
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with each students IEP, tailoring approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Teach core academic subjects with a focus on Math, adapting curriculum to ensure access for all learners
• Assess student progress regularly and modify instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages academic and social-emotional growth
